Government Instruction

Central Ministry’s Stand
Earlier, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) had rejected Dr. Srinivasulu’s request to review allocation orders issued in 2017. The Ministry upheld the validity of the original cadre allocation, confirming his posting to Andhra Pradesh. Following this, the Andhra Pradesh government requested Telangana to relieve the officer without delay.
Hospital Concerns
Hospital staff and medical professionals expressed concern over the prolonged continuation of the Director despite the official orders. They questioned why the Health Department has not acted on the directive. According to Secretariat officials, relieving orders are “under process”, but no clear timeline has been given.
Lingering Uncertainty
The delay has created uncertainty within the institution. Employees remain unsure about the leadership transition and allege that influential backing is protecting the Director. The matter has now drawn attention to the State’s administrative handling of inter-State cadre issues.
