Speaking on his entry into politics, Asaduddin said he draws great inspiration from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Asaduddin, who once played first-class cricket for teams like Hyderabad Colts and Goa, reflected on his cricketing days as a completed chapter. “A sports career is often short-lived. I felt that my time in cricket was over and wanted to step into a new field that excites and challenges me. Politics is that platform for me now,” he explained.
