PCC Chief Vs Women’s Head

  • Internal Fight Erupts in Congress
  • Row Over Sharing of Positions
  • Personal Attacks Start
  • Complaint Reaches Delhi Leaders

The Telangana Congress party is seeing a big internal fight. PCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud and Women’s Wing President Sunitha Rao are fighting over who gets what positions in the party. This fight has become very personal, with both sides making strong comments against each other. The fight is happening right at Gandhi Bhavan, the party’s office.

Sunitha Rao’s Demands…
Sunitha Rao says that women who worked hard for the party should get important positions in the PCC. She says she is under pressure from all the districts, and women leaders must be chosen for the PCC team. Two days ago, her supporters even held a protest at Gandhi Bhavan, making the situation worse.

Women’s Wing Concern…
Sunitha Rao wants the party to give confidence to women who worked for the Women’s Wing. She says the party should follow Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Nari Nyay’ (Women’s Justice) ideas. But the PCC says protesting at the party office is wrong. They even complained to senior leader Kumar Rao. Also, the Gouda Sangham, a community group, held a press meet to support Mahesh Kumar Goud and criticize the women’s group leaders. The fight, which started over positions, has now become a fight with personal attacks.

Why Positions for Elected Leaders?
Sunitha Rao is asking why MPs, MLAs, and MLCs should get positions in the PCC. She says they were elected by the people for specific jobs, like serving the public and developing their areas. She believes that people who don’t have government positions should get chances in the party, so they can work harder to make the party strong. She says she will tell this to the AICC leaders in Delhi. She also wants at least one woman to get one of the four working president positions in the PCC. She is upset that the Congress party is not following Rahul Gandhi’s ideas.

Political Analysis…
Political experts say this internal fight could hurt the party a lot. With local elections coming up, these kinds of fights can make party workers lose hope. Everyone is waiting to see how the Delhi leaders will handle this problem.
