Survey on Outsource employees

Wage Discrimination Remains Widespread
The survey found that 49% of outsourcing employees are affected by wage discrimination and financial stress. Many reported performing the same duties as regular employees but receiving significantly lower wages. Economic pressure has become a constant challenge. Respondents said this imbalance has led to sustained mental distress and disrupted family stability.

Workplace Humiliation and Arrogance
As many as 68% of respondents reported facing humiliation or arrogant behaviour from officials. Within this group, 41% described their work conditions as forced labour in nature. Another 27% said they routinely experience discrimination and disrespect. The absence of dignity at the workplace has seriously damaged morale and self respect.

Agencies Accused of Exploitation
Private agencies have emerged as a major source of concern. About 45% of outsourcing employees blamed agencies for exploitative practices. Delays in salary payments, commission driven deductions, and lack of transparency were frequently reported. Many said wages do not reach them on the 1st of every month, pushing households into debt.

Job Insecurity Fuels Anxiety
Job security remains elusive for a large section of the workforce. Around 36% of respondents expressed constant fear of losing their jobs. Among them, 20% demanded regularisation after completing 5 years of service. Another 16% sought formal contractual protection. Despite long years of service, employment stability continues to be denied.

Trust in the System Erodes
The scale of dissatisfaction is striking. With 91% of respondents expressing frustration, confidence in administrative reform has weakened. About 3% said they have completely lost faith in any corrective action. The survey reflects growing anger and despair among outsourcing employees who feel ignored by the system.

Governance Challenge Ahead
Outsourcing employees play a crucial role in keeping government offices operational. However, the survey highlights serious governance gaps. Wage parity, strict regulation of agencies, and assured job security demand urgent attention. Without structural reforms, administrative efficiency itself may come under strain.
