Massive Corruption Alleged in Telangana OilFed
Article Today, Hyderabad:
Allegations of large-scale corruption are shaking the Telangana Oil Federation. Employees within the organization claim that some senior officials are misusing their powers for personal gain. They accuse these officials of turning the federation into their private profit centre. Reports suggest that corruption is widespread in palm oil plantations, oil sales, and factory tenders. Employees say that a close-knit group of officials is operating like a syndicate, draining the organization. Many now question if anyone will step in to stop these alleged irregularities.
Contractor Nexus and Tender Manipulations
The Oil Federation is currently handling major projects like palm oil expansion, plant supply, nursery development, and factory construction. The government aims to promote palm oil cultivation across vast areas, with the Federation as the nodal agency. However, some officials have reportedly converted these opportunities into personal businesses. For instance, a palm oil factory is being built in Narmetta, Siddipet district, with an estimated cost of Rs. 300 crore. Experts argue that such a large investment is unnecessary for the area’s production capacity. According to employees and engineers, the factory could have been built for Rs. 100 crore. Allegedly, the inflated costs are part of a secret arrangement with a company called Pre Unique. Former key public representatives, ex-managing directors, and current senior officials are reportedly linked to the company. Employees claim that crores of rupees have been siphoned off through this deal. Even though an internal inquiry took place, it was reportedly manipulated to protect those involved.
Employees Turn Sub-Contractors
Shockingly, some Federation employees have reportedly taken on sub-contractor roles while still holding official positions. Sources claim that these employees have partnered with private companies, compromising the organization’s integrity. It is alleged that one senior official regularly moves around with Pre Unique’s CEO, Satyanarayana. This official is believed to have set up a sub-contracting firm using a reversed version of his own name. Through this company, low-quality materials are allegedly being supplied to the Narmetta factory. Employees argue that instead of protecting the Federation, the officer is deeply involved in looting it. Reports suggest that he has purchased a villa in Hyderabad, owns two flats in major apartments, and has acquired 15 acres of land in his native village.
Rental Income Raises Eyebrows
Another senior official, widely known by a popular deity’s name, is also under scrutiny. Employees estimate that his personal wealth has grown to such an extent that he now earns around ₹50 lakh per month from rental properties alone. They argue that it is impossible to accumulate such assets through regular salaries. Reports say that this officer collected commissions throughout his career and colluded with contractors during tenders. He is believed to have amassed nearly Rs. 100 crore over time. Another senior official in the Federation is also suspected of accumulating similar wealth.
Real Estate Ventures Point to Deeper Nexus
Employees allege that a former senior officer, along with two currently serving officials, are now jointly constructing a large commercial complex in a prime Hyderabad locality. This development, they say, reflects the alarming scale of corruption within the Federation. The rising assets and joint real estate projects indicate the extent to which corruption networks have penetrated the organization. Many within the Federation now demand a thorough, independent investigation to uncover the full truth.
