CM Revanth Reddy Issued Directives Amid Operation Sindhoor Context

In a high-level review meeting held on Wednesday Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reviewed the law and order situation in the state in light of Operation Sindhure. During the meeting, he issued several key directives to ensure the state’s preparedness and support for the country’s armed forces.

Key Directives

  • Support for the Armed Forces: The state government stands in solidarity with the country’s armed forces, and this message should be conveyed strongly to the public. Politics and party affiliations will not be entertained during this time.
  • Emergency Services: Leaves of employees providing emergency services have been canceled, and all employees, ministers, and officials are required to be available and accessible.
  • Foreign Tours: All ministers and officials are prohibited from undertaking foreign tours.
  • Social Media Monitoring: Government employees will be subject to strict action if they make unnecessary statements in the media or on social media.
  • Toll-Free Number: A 24-hour toll-free number will be set up for the public.
  • Action Against Illegal Immigrants: Illegal immigrants from countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh will be taken into custody immediately.
  • Command and Control Center: An information system will be set up at the Command and Control Center.
  • Law and Order: Strict action will be taken against those who disrupt peace and law and order.
  • Medical Facilities: Blood banks will stock up on blood reserves, and emergency medicines will be made available. Private hospitals will be monitored for bed availability, and coordination with the Red Cross will be ensured.
  • Food Storage: Sufficient food storage will be ensured.
  • Cybersecurity: Cybersecurity will be prioritized, and a special cell will be set up to combat fake news.
  • Fake News: Strict action will be taken against those spreading fake news, which can cause panic among the public.
  • CCTV Connectivity: CCTV cameras in the three commissionerates of the capital will be connected to the Command and Control Room.
  • Security Measures: Security will be increased in sensitive areas, district headquarters, foreign embassy premises, and IT companies in Hyderabad.
  • Police Vigilance: The police department will remain vigilant, especially in Hyderabad, and engage with peace committees if necessary. History sheeters and past offenders will be closely monitored.
  • The state government is taking all necessary measures to ensure peace and security in the state, and the directives issued by the Chief Minister reflect the government’s commitment to supporting the country’s armed forces and maintaining law and order.
