Some ministers are behaving as if they are the Chief Ministers of their own departments. There are strong allegations that they’re ignoring the CM’s directions and making decisions as they please. This has left CM Revanth quite frustrated, according to sources. There is now talk in political circles that some ministers may be removed or shifted to different departments during the upcoming Cabinet reshuffle.
Tender Trouble: Minister Defies CM
In one major department, a minister reportedly floated tenders without following CM Revanth’s suggestions, despite direct intervention. This act of defiance has deeply upset the CM, and sources say that he has even refused to give that minister an appointment. This incident has exposed growing rifts within the Cabinet. There are also claims that some ministers are obstructing Revanth Reddy’s efforts to ensure transparency in tenders.
Ministers Misusing Power in Transfers
Some ministers are allegedly misusing their power to transfer employees. While regular staff are denied transfers, the ministers are giving transfers to their close associates by claiming they’re from the CM’s office. This has caused dissatisfaction within departments and is affecting the smooth functioning of the government machinery. For example, in the health department, many transfer requests are being denied without explanation, while a few select people are getting approved mysteriously.

Even Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka is facing criticism. He has made his office in the Secretariat highly restricted, putting up barricades and limiting access. Many leaders and officials are frustrated that they can’t meet him without an appointment—even when he’s not in the office.
