A former CEO of Omega Hospitals, Namrata Chiguruapati, has been caught by police for buying cocaine worth Rs 5 lakh. The former CEO, who was caught red-handed, has been arrested along with a drug dealer.

According to police, Namrata contacted a Mumbai-based drug dealer, Vansh Dhakkar, on WhatsApp and paid Rs 5 lakh for 53 grams of cocaine. The dealer sent Balakrishna to deliver the cocaine to Namrata in a restaurant near Rayadurg on May 8. However, the police were waiting and caught them both.

The investigation revealed that Namrata had become a cocaine addict last year. She started using it while studying MBA in Spain in 2021-2022. Since then, she has been buying cocaine regularly from Vansh Dhakkar. In just one year, she spent around Rs 70 lakh on drugs.
