Article Today, America:
Technology giant Apple is preparing to unveil its latest products at a special event on Tuesday night. The iPhone 17 series, new Apple Watch models, and the third generation of AirPods Pro are expected to be launched. Among them, the iPhone 17 Air has drawn significant attention as the company’s slimmest phone yet.
iPhone 17 Series Features
The iPhone 17 lineup will include the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The introduction of the Air model marks a shift from the Plus variant. Reports indicate that the iPhone 17 Air will measure only 5.5 millimetres in thickness, making it Apple’s thinnest phone to date. It is expected to run on the A18 Bionic chipset and feature a 48-megapixel rear camera, an action button, and a capture button. The device will also support e-SIM technology and adopt a portless design.

Advancements in Apple Watch
Apple will also launch the Watch Ultra 3, Series 11, and SE 3 models. The Ultra 3 is expected to come with the S11 chip and advanced health monitoring features, including blood pressure tracking and hypertension alerts. The Series 11 may carry 5G RedCap support with a new MediaTek modem, while the SE 3 is expected to feature slimmer bezels and WatchOS 26. Prices are likely to range from 199 to 799 dollars.
AirPods Pro 3 with New Audio Chip
The AirPods Pro 3 will debut with the H3 audio chip, offering improved sound quality. The model will include enhanced active noise cancellation and real-time conversation translation when paired with the Apple Translate app. The price is expected to be around 249 dollars.
Future Releases
In addition to Tuesday’s launches, Apple plans to release the Vision Pro 2 mixed-reality headset later this year. The device is expected to run on either the M4 or M5 chip for better performance. The HomePod Mini 2, with the S11 chip and Wi-Fi 6E or 7 support, is also in the pipeline, along with a new version of Apple TV 4K powered by the A17 Pro chip.
Competition with Samsung
The iPhone 17 Air is expected to compete directly with Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge. While Samsung’s device will feature a 200-megapixel camera and 3900 mAh battery with 25W fast charging, Apple aims to stand out with its ultra-thin design and the A18 chipset. Analysts suggest that the launch could set a new trend in the smartphone market.
