Telangana is gearing up to enhance its global reputation by hosting the prestigious 72nd Miss World 2025 competition in Hyderabad. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the state government has meticulously planned the grand event, scheduled from May 7th to 31st. Viewing this as a golden opportunity to showcase Telangana’s unique features to the world, the state is also actively seeking significant investment.
A Milestone for the State…
With the slogan “All Eyes on Telangana!”, this mega event is poised to be a significant milestone in the state’s history. Approximately 120 contestants from across the globe will participate in the festivities. This platform will be used to introduce Telangana’s culture, history, tourist attractions, medical and safety tourism, its growth story, and other special aspects to a global audience through specially designed themes and tourist circuits. Notably, Miss World Limited Chairperson and CEO Julia Evelyn Morley, along with Miss World official Kerry and other delegates, arrived at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad on Friday and received a warm welcome in traditional Indian style.

- May 2 – 8: Arrival of Miss World contestants in Hyderabad.
- May 12:
- Buddhist Spiritual Tour: Visit to the Buddha Vanam project in Nagarjuna Sagar.
- Hyderabad Heritage Walk: Exploring the cultural heritage in Charminar and Laad Bazaar.
- May 13:
- Visit to Chowmahalla Palace and attendance at a live music concert.
- May 14:
- Group 1: Visit to the Thousand Pillar Temple and Warangal Fort in Warangal.
- Group 2: Visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ramappa Temple and viewing of a Perini dance performance.
- May 15:
- Group 1: Visit to the Yadadri Gutta Temple.
- Group 2: Experiential tour of handloom making and exhibition in Pochampally.
- May 16:
- Group 1: Medical Tourism awareness event at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad, highlighting the specialties of modern hospitals.
- Group 2: Visit to the Pillalamarri banyan tree in Mahabubnagar.
- Group 2 (Evening): Visit to the Experion Eco Park in Hyderabad.
- May 17:
- Miss World Sports Final competitions at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.
- Visit to Ramoji Film City.
- May 18:
- Visit to the Telangana Police Integrated Command and Control Centre to observe safety measures and safety tourism initiatives.
- Visit to the Secretariat, briefing on Telangana’s growth and history, and visit to the Sunday Funday carnival on Tank Bund.
- May 19:
- Continental Finale – region-specific fast-track selections.
- May 20 or 21:
- Group 1 contestants to attend an IPL match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal.
- May 21:
- Group 2 contestants to attend an Arts and Crafts workshop by Telangana artists at Shilparamam.
- May 22:
- Miss World Talent Finale.
- May 23:
- H2H Challenge Finale.
