Article Today, New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan has expressed keen interest in setting up an international-standard film studio in Telangana. During a special meeting with Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in New Delhi, Devgn discussed his vision for a world-class facility that would boost the state’s media and entertainment sector.
Focus on Animation and AI-Based Production
Ajay Devgan proposed building a studio equipped with advanced technologies, including animation, VFX, and artificial intelligence-based tools. He emphasised the importance of these facilities for modern film production and urged the state government to support the establishment of such a hub in Telangana. He noted that Telangana’s infrastructure and growing media ecosystem make it an ideal location for the project.

Plan for a Skill Development Centre
Beyond the studio, Devgan also announced his willingness to establish a skill development centre to train youth in various aspects of the film industry. He stated that the centre would help build a talented workforce for animation, editing, direction, and post-production roles. This initiative, he added, would provide employment opportunities and drive creative innovation within the state.
A Boost to Telangana’s Film Sector
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy briefed the actor on Telangana’s rapid development and highlighted the state’s potential as a destination for creative industries. Ajay Devgn appreciated the government’s proactive approach and assured full support in promoting Telangana as a hub for media and cinema. He also offered to act as a brand ambassador for the state’s growth story, particularly in the cultural and entertainment spheres.
