‘Vote Hamara… Raj Tumhara’

  • Bahujans… Wake Up! Raise voice
  • Don’t Fall for Upper Caste Political Tricks!
  • Just Reservations? A Trap!
  • Bahujans should become a political force
  • Boycott Puppet Leaders in Bahujan community

Upper caste parties like Congress and BJP are pretending to care about SCs, STs, and OBCs just for their votes. They talk about caste census, but they are the same people who commit atrocities against lower castes. They want political power and for that, they need Bahujan votes. They are fooling Bahujans with promises of caste census but their real plan is to keep them limited to reservations and away from real political power. Great leaders like Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Kanshiram said that political power is the only way to freedom. Bahujan unity is the only way to stop these tricks.

Violence incidents on Bahujans…
We saw how the government helped companies take land from poor farmers (SCs, STs, OBCs) in Lagcharla. They beat up the farmers and put them in jail. And another thing is, In Hyderabad they demolished the huts and houses of many poor SC, ST, and OBC people in the name of “Hydra.” Also, in government jobs and important positions, mostly upper caste people are being appointed. It looks like only one upper caste group is ruling everywhere.

Work for their own benefit only…
These upper caste parties work for their own benefit, but they say they were born to serve Bahujans and that’s why they did the caste census. Their words and actions are very different. This is how upper caste parties treat Bahujans in the country and in the state. BJP uses religion to get votes, and Congress thought it could use caste to build its vote bank. Now, BJP is trying to use both religion and caste. All upper caste parties are now singing praises of Bahujans. It’s foolish to believe that upper caste parties will do anything for Bahujans. A great person said, “As long as people don’t understand whose interests are hidden behind a slogan, they will keep getting fooled.” We need to understand politics this way.

Just Reservations? A Trap!
There’s a plan to trap Bahujans in reservations and keep them away from political power. Ambedkar and Kanshiram said political power is the only way to freedom. But upper castes fool Bahujans and use their votes to get power. Upper caste parties are making a lot of noise about caste census, saying it will bring equality to BCs, SCs, and STs. But the real problem is what happens after the census. Even if we know the population data, if Bahujans don’t get a fair share in political power, money, and social equality, then the caste census is just a political show. There are criticisms about the Telangana caste survey. It cost 160 crore rupees, but it’s been said that the BC population was shown as 5.5 percent less than it actually is. BC organizations said the survey was full of mistakes. There are accusations that by showing fewer BCs, there’s a plan to reduce their political and economic share. This shows how upper castes are using caste census to trick Bahujans.

Only 27% Reservation for BCs for So Long?
The rule that reservations cannot be more than 50 percent in India’s constitution has been bad for Bahujans. Even if the population of BCs, SCs, and STs is very high, they don’t get reservations according to their population because of this limit. For example, BCs are more than 50 percent of the country’s population, but they only get 27 percent reservation. Saying that caste census will bring justice without removing this rule is just fooling Bahujans. Ambedkar introduced reservations as a way to bring social equality. But he sadly said, “Because of reservations, some became clerks, but in villages, Bahujans are still slaves to landlords because they don’t have land.” Showing reservations as the permanent solution for Bahujans is part of a plan by upper castes to keep them away from political power.

What Happened in Bihar?
Congress and BJP are very interested in caste census, but their real intentions are hidden. They know that if the population data of BCs, SCs, and STs is known, there will be pressure to give them a fair share. That’s why they delay caste census and prepare reports with wrong numbers. For example, in Bihar in 2023, the caste survey showed that BCs and EBCs are 63% of the population there. But the courts canceled the decision to increase reservations based on this data because of the 50 percent limit. This incident shows that upper caste parties have no intention of giving justice to Bahujans.

Vote Hamara… Raj Tumhara
Ambedkar said, “A Bahujan society without political power cannot achieve social and economic equality.” Kanshiram made Bahujans aware with the slogan “Vote Hamara… Raj Tumhara… Nahi Chalega” (Our vote, your rule – no more!). He showed Bahujans the way to achieve political power by establishing the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). But upper caste parties buy off Bahujan leaders with small positions and turn them into puppets to weaken the movement.
